يتضمن التعليق على كتاب (الكافي في فقه الإمام أحمد بن حنبل) رحمه الله تعالى؛ لابن قدامة المقدسي رحمه الله (ت620ﻫ)، وقد كان ضمن دروسه العلمية التي عقدها في جامعه بعنيزة خلال (1412-1421ﻫ)، ووصل فيه إلى باب: (أصول سهام الفرائض) من كتاب الفرائض، وكما أن له تعليقا في دروس خاصة رتبها بعض كبار طلابه في منازلهم بشكل دوري، خلال (1415-1421ﻫ)، وتناولت القراءة فيها من كتاب الوكالة إلى كتاب الجهاد، وقد تخلل كلا التعليقين مواضع ليس لها تسجيل صوتي؛ تمت الإشارة إليها في مواضعها، وقد سبق أن شرع فضيلته بكتابة مهمات المسائل في كتاب (الكافي)، وصل فيها إلى أواخر كتاب الطهارة؛ فألحقت مفردة في نهاية التعليق على كتاب الطهارة من الكتاب نفسه.
